About the job

Growing and professionalizing the role of HR within Kryha is an exciting challenge here! After a few growth spurts, it’s time to take the next step in Human Resources and improve our policies, maintain and grow our culture. We’re looking for someone who has a clear perspective on how we should be supporting our people and is excited to roll up their sleeves and get to work. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be centered around; recruitment & retention, compliance, and culture. You will directly report to the CEO and COO and work together with a management team and will be the main point of contact day to day HR-related topics. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment 
    • Partner with leadership to execute Kryha’s human resource and talent strategy
    • Working in tandem with our Recruitment Manager you’ll be responsible for the final stages of the recruitment process
    • Creation and roll out of employee handbooks and onboarding programs
    • Onboarding itself; introductions, training sessions, and gaining access to our system
  • Retention
    • Managing benefits administration 
    • Exploring additional compensation and benefits packages for our team
    • Involvement and advising on performance management, personal and professional growth
  • Compliance:
    • Provide support and guidance to management, and other staff with regards to dutch labor law and creating employee contracts
    • Ability to create contractor (ZZP) agreements and assist management with regards to contractor management  
  • Culture:
    • Managing and setting out a structure for employee training 
    • Designing and implementing workplace (culture) policy
    • Maintaining and enhancing safe & healthy working culture
    • Work with Managers to provide constructive feedback and coaching to employees; assist Managers with effective management of their teams to instill a culture of feedback and collaboration 

What we expect from you: 

  • Organized, structured, and great attention to detail 
  • Passionate about people, culture, and personal growth 
  • Around 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, huge plus for experience in scale-up environments;
  • Well familiarised with topics such as employee engagement, recruitment, and retention strategies, learning and development, and compliance. 
  • Experience in cultivating company culture and a natural interest in a fast-paced scale-up environment
  • You’re up to speed on Dutch labor law 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Fluency in English and Dutch
